Monitor and recover product synchronization
Check source ownership, last sync, integration health, and failed updates.
Prerequisites
Complete an initial import. Keep access to the source system and its integration configuration. The available sync actions depend on the configured integration type.
Verify an update
- Change one test product's price or stock in the source system.
- Open Integrations, choose the relevant integration, and check whether it is active. Use its connection test or product sync action when offered.
- Open the product's sync information and compare the last sync time and source identifiers with the source record.
- Inspect integration deliveries for the relevant update. Record failed status, response, or error.
- Reopen the product and verify the changed variant by SKU. Check both price and currency, or quantity and tracking state.
Recover a failure
Correct invalid credentials, scopes, payload fields, or source identifiers before retrying. Confirm whether the previous attempt changed data before replaying an event. Repeated imports are not a substitute for diagnosing the owning integration.
Expected result
The updated source value is reflected on the matching product or variant. Source badges and sync information remain consistent.
If it still fails
Collect the integration ID, external ID, SKU, update time, and sanitized delivery error. Ask your integration implementer to check the backend contract. Do not fix externally owned data by creating duplicate native records.
Import an external catalog
Load products and variants from a source system using the external JSON import.
Configure inbound and outbound webhooks
Receive source events, notify external systems, and inspect delivery results.
Troubleshoot integrations
Separate connection, authentication, payload, delivery, and business-result failures.
