Dashboard, analytics, and BI insights

Read business metrics, ask BI questions, and check reporting context.

Prerequisites

Use the permissions required by each view. BI Chat and BI Insights are plan-feature gated separately from ordinary dashboard access.

Review performance

  1. Open Dashboard for the business overview. Check the scope and period shown for each metric.
  2. Open Analytics, select the relevant date range, and inspect chart labels and definitions before comparing results.
  3. Use exports where offered and retain the period/filter context with the exported report.
  4. Open BI Assistant to ask a specific question with a time period. Review the answer and any supporting visualization against the underlying metrics.
  5. Open BI Insights for available insights and review quota or feature-access notices.

Expected result and troubleshooting

You can explain what business, period, and measure a report represents. If totals differ, compare filters, time zones, definitions, and refresh state. AI-generated insights are a starting point for investigation, not proof of a business cause. Check source records before making a decision.
