Start from a workflow template

Adapt a reusable workflow recipe to your own integrations and recipients.

Prerequisites

You need workflow-template access and permission to create a workflow. A recipe is a starting point, not a ready connection to your business systems.

Use a recipe

  1. Open Automation → Workflow Templates.
  2. Inspect the recipe's description, trigger, and actions before using it.
  3. Create a workflow from the chosen template and give the new workflow a business-specific name.
  4. Replace recipient mapping, Meta template selection, integration IDs, tool selection, and variable paths with your own configuration.
  5. Review conditions and delays. Save, test a matching and nonmatching event, and inspect run history.
  6. Activate only the configured workflow you have tested.

Expected result and recovery

The new workflow uses your business's assets. If a referenced template, webhook, or tool is missing, configure that dependency rather than leaving sample values. Disable the workflow while diagnosing unexpected sends.
