Email drafts, scheduling, and inbox organization
Compose, reply, forward, review AI drafts, and manage scheduled sends.
Prerequisites
Connect a mailbox and confirm incoming sync and outgoing delivery. Use the email permissions needed for each action. A saved draft is not a sent email.
Compose and respond
- Open the Email inbox and select the intended mailbox. Use Compose for a new message or open a thread to reply, reply all, or forward.
- Review To, CC, BCC, subject, body, and attachments before sending. Forwarding and reply all may expose content to additional recipients; inspect the actual recipients each time.
- Request an AI draft or rewrite when offered. Read and edit the result, especially names, promises, dates, and quoted facts.
- Save a draft if it is not ready. Reopen it from Drafts or the saved draft associated with its thread. Discard only after confirming it is no longer needed.
- Send when ready and verify the sent result. Check failures rather than assuming the composer closing means delivery succeeded.
Schedule a send
Use the composer's scheduling control with the intended date and time. Review the selected time and time zone before confirming. Open Scheduled to inspect pending messages. Use the offered cancellation action before sending if plans change; cancellation is not recall of an already sent email. Inspect failed scheduled messages before retrying.
Organize work
Use available star, read/unread, archive/unarchive, and folder/move actions to organize threads. Confirm the selected mailbox and folder when a message appears missing. Archived work is different from a draft or scheduled send. The AI draft-review queue and automatic-send setting are controlled from email agent settings.
Expected result and troubleshooting
The correct mailbox sends to the intended recipients, drafts remain available for review, and scheduled state matches the intended action. For send or sync errors check mailbox health, credentials, recipient validation, and the actual operation result. See email setup for connection recovery.
Connect and operate email
Connect Gmail, Outlook, or IMAP/SMTP and review AI draft behavior.
Daily inbox operations
Find conversations, inspect customer context, and handle work in the correct channel.
Monitor usage and control costs
Use the business usage and billing views to review allowances, add-ons, and activity.
