Create and use quick replies

Reuse reviewed text in the WhatsApp composer without confusing it with approved templates.

Prerequisites

Use quick-reply management permission to create replies, and conversation write permission to send. Quick replies are free-form text and do not replace approved templates outside the messaging window.

Create and use

  1. Open Automation → Quick Replies.
  2. Add a recognizable title, shortcut, and content using the fields shown. Keep replies specific and current.
  3. Save and open a WhatsApp customer conversation under human handling.
  4. Type / and select the saved reply, or use the quick-reply picker.
  5. Review the resulting text and any customer, company, agent, or time substitutions. Edit before sending when needed.
  6. Send only when the messaging window allows free-form messages.

Expected result and troubleshooting

The selected text is inserted for review. If a shortcut is missing, check the saved reply and search text. If sending is blocked by the window, use an approved Meta template; renaming a quick reply does not make it approved. Review shared replies when policies change.
