Inventory adjustments and pricing

Maintain variant quantities, low-stock thresholds, and supported price rules.

Prerequisites

Open an AI Node managed product with stock or price management permission. For an external product, make the change in its owning system.

Adjust stock

  1. Open Products, choose the product, and find the variant by SKU.
  2. Enable inventory tracking for that variant if stock should be tracked.
  3. Use the inventory adjustment action. Enter the signed adjustment and a meaningful reason, such as a receipt or stock count correction. An adjustment is a change in quantity, not an absolute replacement quantity.
  4. Save, then inspect the resulting stock quantity. Set a low-stock threshold suitable for the item.
  5. Review low-stock information in the catalog before promising availability to a customer.

Manage pricing

Open the product's price-rule controls. Choose a supported rule type, fill the fields shown for that type, and save. Inspect the saved rule and currency. Use the actual configured pricing model; do not assume a fixed price applies to every quantity or period.

Expected result

The variant displays the corrected quantity and intended pricing information. Test a customer price or availability question after changing the catalog.

Troubleshooting

Check the SKU, source badge, tracking setting, adjustment sign, and server error. A stale external price or quantity belongs in sync troubleshooting. Keep changing stock and prices out of static knowledge files.
