Connection checklist

  1. Sign in as a teammate authorized to manage the relevant channel. Confirm that your plan enables it.
  2. Open its dedicated guide and prepare the provider account and requested permissions.
  3. Complete connection and inspect the returned status. A successful provider login alone does not prove message delivery.
  4. Send a message from a separate customer account and reply from the channel inbox.
  5. Test AI behavior separately. Provider authorization, business AI configuration, and conversation handling state are different controls.

Compare capabilities

WhatsApp provides its own templates and interactive composer. Instagram and Messenger expose private messaging and provider-window checks. Email has mailbox synchronization, compose/reply, attachments, and AI draft review settings. The widget has domain, branding, language, and publishing controls. Do not assume a WhatsApp message format can be sent through another channel.

Troubleshooting

If a channel is unavailable, check permission and plan notices. If authorization succeeds but delivery fails, use the channel's connection status and message troubleshooting.
